A canopy serves as an overhead roof to provide shade or shelter from the rain, sun and other environmental elements. It may also act as an overhanging structure over which a fabric or metal covering is securely attached. Canopies that are made available today come in many different forms and are targeted at both homeowners and companies dealing with various businesses. Some are sold as tents that are typically designed without any flooring. These tents are often installed at road shows for practical reasons.
